In addition, please outline your selected fonts and Pantone colours so we’re able to bring your design vision to life. Once your design is complete, we’ll supply you with a digital or hard copy proof for you to approve. Upon receipt of your approval, we’ll convert your final artwork into a production-ready file that we use to create plates with DuPont Higher Performance polymer film. We require a set of plates for each selected colour before transferring ink to film.
Our Process
Film Extrusion
Poly bag extrusion is a manufacturing process we offer. During this process, we melt raw food-grade pellets down before they’re blown into a four-story cylindrical bubble. As the plastic cools, our technicians form it into a master roll of film before transferring it to our printing presses. Then, we extrude Biodegradable films, Heat Shrink films, and PE in many colours complemented by a variety of options, including no slip and static.
Our Process
Printing
Once the film for your project has been extruded into rolls, we can enter it into our printing queue. For this part of the production process, we will place the plates produced from your design onto printing sleeves using a special camera mounting system. We feature multiple printing presses that we use to print your custom packaging and bags. We have the capability to produce eight-colour, full process photo-quality printing.
Our Process
Converting
After printing your rolls, we send them to one of our bagging machines for processing. Depending on your intended use of the bags, offer a wide range of customized options such as biodegradable construction in order to suit your needs and preferences. Once converted, we box the bags and ready them to ship to you.
